What are the different types of drawing pencils?

H Series (Hard):
Represents pencils with higher hardness and lighter color.
Common models: H, 2H, 4H, 6H, etc. The larger the number, the higher the hardness and the lighter the color.
Uses: Suitable for drawing fine lines, detailed work, or auxiliary lines during sketching.

 

B Series (Black):
Represents pencils with higher softness and darker color.
Common models: B, 2B, 4B, 6B, 8B, etc. The larger the number, the higher the softness and the darker the color.
Uses: Suitable for drawing shadows, dark areas, or expressing light and shadow contrast.

 

HB:
Intermediate between H and B, with moderate hardness and color.
Uses: Commonly used for initial sketching or basic lines in everyday drawing.

 

F Series (Fine):
Hardness is between HB and H, with a finer lead.
Uses: Suitable for detailed parts requiring precise control.

 

Special Models:
Such as 9B, 12B, etc., which are ultra-soft pencils with extremely dark colors, suitable for expressing strong dark areas or special effects.
Such as 9H, which are ultra-hard pencils with extremely light colors, suitable for professional fine art drawing.
